Some news on the coaching changes-
Brian Gregory takes the Georgia Tech job.

Dayton associate head coach Billy Schmidt may be a leader for the Dayton job.

Associate Head Coach Rob Senderoff is named the Interim Head Coach at Kent State. this move freezes him at KSU for now while they determine what they will do for a head coach.

Eastern Washington has hired Jim Hayford as their new head coach.

Florida Gulf Coast has supposedly narrowed their search to 3 or 4 candidates-Miami associate head coach Jorge Fernandez, Florida State assistant Andy Enfield, and Alabama associate head coach Dan Hipsher are thought to be the final three. But Todd Lickliter may still be a possibility.

Purdue's Matt Painter is supposedly visiting Missouri.

And some names being mentioned to replace Cuonzo Martin at Missouri State- three MSU assistants interested- Jon Harris, Kent Williams, and Steve Woodberry. Also Southern Indiana head coach Rodney Watson, and former Oklahoma head coach Jeff Capel interested.

Now being reported by several sources that Matt Painter will accept the Missouri job at 7 years/$14 million bucks.

Some think Purdue will make a strong push for Brad Stevens of Butler.

I guess money talks. You would have to believe the Purdue job being in the Big 10 is more desirable. Mizzou was left out of the expansion.

And Eastern Washington hired a successful Division III coach Jim Hayford as their head coach-
Eastern Washington University will introduce Jim Hayford as its new men’s basketball coach at a news conference scheduled for today. A highly reliable source, who asked to remain anonymous because of being unauthorized to discuss the recent and secretive coaching search conducted by EWU athletic director Bill Chaves, said Hayford agreed to accept the Eastern job Monday, ending his successful 10-year run as an NCAA Division III head coach at Whitworth University.

Seth Davis reporting that Mark Gottfried "is the man to beat" for the Utah job-

though some are reporting that UNLV coach Lon Kruger is interested and will interview-

UC Davis men's basketball coach Gary Stewart is stepping down after eight seasons with the Aggies.
