I don't have a favorite, but I don't think the powers in charge would hire a failed coach from another school.
Im not saying there couldnt be a "castoff" that might be the exception to the rule, but it I believe you have to be effective in your league

Bradley has intense, loyal fans...and everyone knows BU's fans follow their team even on the road moreso than MOST teams
BU is nearing completion of a campaign that will raise over $100 million for the upgrade of facilities..only about 40-50 schools in the country could compete with that
and BU's fans are the best...we all know that and no argument is even needed....so unless a coach has a top BCS offer, yes, he'd want to come to Bradley...why not......?
ps-- barely a dozen non-BCS schools pay as well as BU for their head coach...and past BU coaches and assistants have gone on to numerous other head coaching positions, even the NBA
Thanks for the hint of optimism and the ray of sunshine that BU will survive post JL
I am betting it will take the same, or less, time with a new coach than Les took to get it going post Mo... MVC isn't as strong as it was post Mo....BUilding for the Future

I wouldn't be surprised, though I think I'd be a little underwhelmed.???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. I would be concerned about their recruiting ability in the Midwest..... but I guess they could solve that with a good assistant from this region. Amaker strikes me as someone who would "use" us as a stepping stone to leave ASAP. Johnson is young, well-spoken, and just strikes me as someone who would be more loyal to a program long term (which could also mean he is less likely to leave Princeton).
