I agree.....love seeing these names interested in the job. I'll be disappointed if we don't go big with this hire.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

To add to that comment- Once we get someone hired, I guarantee the positive vibes on this board will be overwhelming we'll wonder if this still is bradleyfans.com. Regardless of who they hire.

Then we'll have a defection or three, and the nervous nellies will start chirping.

This thing will take a while, but after enduring 2 straight season sweeps at the hands of lousy ISU teams and finishing last in the Valley, anything will be an improvement.

as a JL supporter, its time to move on, whining will not change what has been done. here is what i think we need.

        les-chemistry
        molinari-defense
        versace-attitude and offense

It's rumored that Coach K will not let his assistants leave for a midmajor job. He will only let them take majors, and only when he thinks they will surely succeed. Collins and Wojciechowski have had several offers and have turned them all down.

While that doesn't surprise me, how can he really control that?

The same way Bruce Weber kept Jerrance Howard from taking the UIC and other jobs. He just say no, then raises their salary a couple hundred thousand more.

I guess I would call it bad news, but a bunch of guys on this list were eliminated from their conference tournaments. I wonder if they can take a day to interview before they prepare for the NCAA's. Lusk, Gard, Neal, Howard, etc.

"Hewitt was able to attract future NBA players such as Chris Bosh, Thaddeus Young, Derrick Favors, Jarrett Jack and Anthony Morrow to Georgia Tech."

If he can recruit players like that to BU!
If you cant go to school go to STATE!!

Do we want somebody else's castoff? Someone who just failed elsewhere and was fired?
I don't have a favorite, but I don't think the powers in charge would hire a failed coach from another school.

I would take Hewitt,Capell, or Lickliter
                          Cast off or not.

I think it definitely depends. There are plenty of coaches capable of regularly coaching a mid-major team to the top third of their conference while struggling to do the same at high majors.

If not, I am all for being patient if that is what it takes for us to land someone like Lusk or Gard.

Yeah, but regardless of the salary increase, can a coach really keep an assistant from taking any job? In other words, doesn't their contract have to spell this out?
