Isn't he kind of in the same situation as Sammy? Perhaps he may not have as many options as Sammy, but surely he would have some wouldn't he? Remember - Will did have arguably his best game as a Brave against Bruce Weber and Illinois in Vegas (11 pts, 11 rebs). We've seen in the past all it takes is one good game against Illinois for Bruce to come poaching (see Marcus Arnold's game as an ISU Redbird against Illinois a few years back). Perhaps Sammy and Will are a package deal? They did come in together. What a major recruiting coup for Illinois this would be!

And there is no way WE would log a minute at U of I lol. no offense.
And while the part about going to U of I was said tongue-in-cheek, it was more a question about people not seeming to care about Will leaving when he's more or less in the same position as Sam. From what DC says, it sounds like he's weighing his options like everyone. Completely understandable.Onward and Upward!

I care if WE leaves. Would I be as devastated as if Sammy leaves? No. But I don't want any of the current players or recruits to leave. I know if won't happen, but I'd love to see this team all return next year. WE has frustrated me more than any Brave recently, but just maybe the light will go on next year.....at the very least he is a decent post. So I don't want him to leave either.

Ding, ding, ding ---- take away the high post screen & you can likely cut WE's foul outs in 1/2. Next teach him not to reach in at center court while chasing a guard and he's down to a manageable 3-4 fouls outs a season.
