Not sure where Pat is at from an X's and O'x standpoint, but his midwest ties could surely help. I don't really remember what the scene was like after Bob got ousted from IU (after the video of him hitting the kid in practice), but I am not sure if there were many universities that were willing to give him a chance because of that. Texas Tech is not exactly a powerhouse of the big 12 either. I wouldn't say they are at the same level of where DePaul is at in the Big East, but I imagine a similar situation when comparing the two conferences. Cellar dwellars. Tough place to recruit at.

I wouldn't discount him just yet. He might actually be able to do some good at a school like BU. It will be interesting to see if he makes the short list.

I don't think he ever really got a chance to build a reputation in lower conferences like many coaches do. In the coaching world, I think the valley is still seen as a good place to do so.

He does not have recruiting ties to the midwest. It has been several years since he was at Indiana. When he was there he was not a recruiter for the team. If Pat night is on Bradley's short list we also need a new athletic director. He should not even be considered for the Bradley job!!! Texas is not a tough place to recruit. He is just a lousy recruiter. Please everyone...Let's drop this Pat Knight for Bradley discussion....

I can say this just is not going to happen and if it does I quit being a BU basketball fan until the AD and coach leaves. I can say safely, I'll be a BU basketball team supporter next year.

Bob Knight would never coach at BU for many reasons but one could find it entertaining as watching the clash of the titans.

Eastern Washington just fired their coach Kirk Earlywine -- who replaced Ray Giacoletti -- some there want Giacoletti back...sorta deja vu & buyers remorse....

also rumors that Oklahoma's Jeff Capel (13-17 this year)-- who was riding high and the hottest commodity just a couple years ago might get ousted after two consecutive terrible years....
