And who knows maybe a U of I recruit or two would decide to commit to Bradley knowing Jerrance would be the head coach.
Devin Langford is the only U of I 2011 recruit who could join Jerrance at Bradley as he is the only one not signed to a NLOI.

And Illinois has no one committed in the high school class of 2012.

Don't get your hopes up for an infusion of talent by hiring Jerrance.

        No.

Max is not an Illinois commit.
Max is considering Michigan and Illinois. He will take an official visit to Michigan but has delayed that visit until after PND's tournament run. He is dedicated to PND's state title quest.

Both Michigan and Illinois have offered. I believe both are patiently waiting at this point in time.

It's unlikely that a new coach could get any serious interest from Max now that he has 2 Big Ten offers.

Correct me if I'm wrong but all Max could do at this point is verbally commit to a school.

He can't officially sign a National Letter of Intent until April 13th:

            You are correct.

Same situation as previously mentioned Langford.

I really don't think hiring Jerrance would bring any coveted UI recruits. That was the point of my post. And I think the ship has sailed with Max for us. Both Beilein and Weber would like a vebal commitment at this point in time. And once received, I am guessing neither coach is worried about a decommitment prior to signing date.

Hasn't UofI increased Howards pay 2 or 3 times to keep him from taking a head coaching job elsewhere? I am not sure what he is making but I think I might be more then BU is willing to pay for a head coach. I think Howard will be holding out for for a BCS job. JMHO

JH's new contract gave him a raise from 120,000 to 180,000 for 3 years. If he stays all 3 years he gets a bonus of like 30-50,000 dollars.

He went 110% all out for the UIC job. I can't see why he wouldn't go after the Bradley job the same.

Howard's contract is through 2013 and his bonus for staying is actually $75,000.

Considering that's 2 more years you could actually say his per year these next 2 years is $217,500 (figuring he just needs 2 years now to collect the extra $75k).

We will end up with a yes man that works cheap and most likely we have never heard of. And we will most likely lose 5 or 6 players and incoming reccruitis all together. So I hope the people who wanted this are happy now.
