              AW was a great person and player. I certainly know he and the other players loved JL and would have liked to see him continue at BU.

              I can certainly understand that from the players.

                So can I. The decision to let JL go as needed, IMO. But, this will hurt pretty bad for those guys these next few days and weeks. Exactly why the powers that be need to get on the stick and make a clean and clearly communicated decision.

                Not for us, the media, or anyone else's best interest.............but for the players. They could keep most of our roster if they handle this right, or they could run most of them off if it turns into a cluster.

                  Some knew before that and shared it - but were told by those it was shared with that it wasn't true.

                  I like JL and wish him the best. He had some very, very, very bad luck and ran into some additional bad luck the last few years that ultimately led to this decision - none of that was his fault.

                  When new folks come in, they generally want to make their mark. They have, now let's see what happens.
