      • coach les had his opportunity and was paid well for his efforts($3,000,000 or $4,000,000) during his tenue. will be interesting to see if he stays in coaching or goes back into the financial business.

either way, i'd bet he will be making a 6 figure income again quickly.

What's this 3 stuff. We're supposed to contend every year, regardless of situation, right?

We should compete, to be sure. The first year could be rough, if you have defections. However, I would still expect better than 4-14.

            But ultimately, time will tell.

My bad--you are correct Buesch--if we don't contend next year, fire the new coach

Those are the expectations people have put on this program....contend for the conference title, make a solid run in STL, never lose a home game, and actual butts in seats. I know some people "don't care about other teams", but don't you believe Jank deserves to be fired after this past season?
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

His saving grace is he contended 3 of the last 4 years and swept his rival this year

You are right about the 6-figure income- he'll be making it for the next 3 years, and BU will be paying it.

Don't worry. We have a fan that expects 6-7 bids every 10 years...

Jank did in his first 3 years what Les coudn't do in 9 so he get's the benefit of the doubt from most of us.

You mean ISU made the Big Dance under Jank?

OK what did Jank do so special? Sweet 16 run? Did I miss something?
