Because today is about the winner of the tournament, its their day in the spot light. You don't release big news like a coaching change on someone else's big day if you're classy.

I know the BU students aren't the favorite people around this board, but I've been a BU fan since birth, I went to my first game as a two year old and now that I'm in Bradley, I have to see this. My senior year, next season, will be possibly worse then last year.
I just don't understand the problem with keeping Les for at least one more year with his seniors.
Anyways, I hope we look at Wayne McCLain or maybe when Bruce Pearl gets fired, he'll look at us as a mid major stepping stone back to major conferences

Please tell me your joking about Pearl! NO WAY I'd want this dirtbag here! And not only that, I don't want stepping stone coaches here anyway. He might have a couple of great years here, then what? We're back to square one anyway.
But he brings WAY too much baggage with him and we should be much better than that.
As long as the university doesn't release the information today, it's still a classy thing happening. How could they have possibly imagined this news getting out before tomorrow?

If Bruce Pearl shows up they are not getting any of my money. He is not worthy of Bradley University. Winning is not everything, you have to behave with class, dignity and honesty and that coach has proven he is not capable or worthy of a decent job.
