Anyone else watching the NBA game on ABC- the Bulls vs. the Heat?
I confess I am watching this game, and checking the MVC game during commercials. A great game so far. The Bulls lead 82-76 with 3:30 left.
With all the hype the national media give LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, the best player on the court today is Derrick Rose.-

I think the Bulls have a legitimate shot of at least coming out of the Eastern Conference this year. I hope LeBron enjoys his time in Miami.....NOT!

Great game going on in St. Louis! It may go down to the wire. Go Syacamores!

Bulls win! 87-86. After missing 2 shots to win in the final seconds, the Heat are an amazing 1-16 now (6.25%) this season on final possession shots to tie or win games. That is amazing considering the talent on that team. The Bulls now move into the 2nd slot in the Eastern Division, and the Heat have lost 4 in a row, and now have 20 losses.
There were experts who predicted they would not lose 10 games all season!

#2 seed looking very doable for the Bulls, which would be huge as it would mean home court through the conference finals.

Right now it looks like the Celts and Bulls as the two teams to beat in the East. The Bulls will need a consistent 3 point shooter to make it to the Finals IMO. Rose is a superstar with two bigs that can protect the paint! Noah is turning out to be a pretty good NBA player.

Kyle Korver isn't a consistent 3 point shooter? He led the NBA last year and is 11th this year.

I'm a KK fan but for some reason his minutes have been limited. Could it be he is a defensive liability?

I assume you meant the #2 overall seed? The #1 seed in the East is within reach (2.5 games back of Boston now). The Bulls are playing better than anyone right now, including the Celtics, now that they are completely healthy. Their schedules aren't too much different, except the Celts have more road games. The Bulls have 21 games left, 10 on the road, and the Celtics have 22- 13 on the road (they play at Milwaukee today).
It could come down to the one game remaining between the two, and it will be at Chicago on April 7.

Oh yeah. They were predicted to at least break the Bulls record mark of 72 wins.

                        Well, how about.......NOT?!

I meant the #2 seed in the East, which they currently hold. Catching Boston I think will be tough, as I believe Boston has one of the easiest remaining schedules. But hey, it's within reach right now, no question.

I turned the game off immediately after seeing "los bulls" and "el heat" on the jerseys... absolutely horrible, no matter what the purpose was.
