I bet the Grizzlies are kicking themselves in the foot for trading Love for OJ Mayo in the 2008 draft. Mayo went 3rd with Love at 5th pick.

Love just slammed home his 50th straight double double tonight and 3rd straight 20 points/20 boards game. 1st time in 20 years a player has had 3 straight 20/20's. More than likely Rose will get the MVP this season because the Bulls have played better but Love is definitely deserving of the award. Rose was the #1 overall pick in that draft as well.

I like Love but remember that he plays for a really bad team now. In the NBA someone has to score and rebound so if you are a pretty good player on a bad team you don't have a choice but to put up stats.

Love has found his match with the Timberwolves; their style fits his style. If he stays with that team he will continue to look good. If he played for a more talented and faster paced team he would probably just look average.

He's turning into one of the best players in the league. I guess the current NBA player he compares best to is Dwight Howard, except Love can step out and hit threes and has a solid Free Throw percentage.

Based on his performance at Kansas State, where he was putting up rebounding numbers in college that had not been seen in decades, I would have thought Michael Beasley would be the Tiberwolve turning in performances like this. However, it's Kevin Love who has taken his game to the next level.
