I've seen BU fans in fights with opposing teams fans outside the Peoria Civic Center on at least three occasions.
Walking out of Scottrade tonight and two ISU students were chanting I-S-U and having a good time and it turned UGLY quick! A Wichita St. fan said something to one of the ISU students and the kid got right in his face and knocked him out COLD. The Wichita St. fan fell off the curb and did a face plant in the street. Police quickly had the ISU student in handcuffs and taken away. That ISU kid went from having a great night to JAIL. So remember Bradley fans always keep your cool when exiting Scottrade.
That ISU fan also hit a Drake fan inside the arena just before the incident your described. At the end of the game, he threw his beer cup in the air, soaking a woman Drake fan and the SIU fan sitting behind her. The Drake fan's husband tried to get an apology for his spilling beer on the wife, and the guy basically said to f off. The woman then flipped off the drunken ISU fan who then moved toward her. The husband stepped in between them and was hit by the ISU fan.
