The Lady Braves led 46 ???‚¬??? 27 at the half and cruised to an easy 85 ???‚¬??? 43 exhibition win over Quincy. Devyn Flanagan with 24 and Amy Peters with 15 led five Braves in double figures as all the ladies got meaningful minutes. The one exception was usual starter Ashley Chelleen. Ashley was on crutches resulting from a rolled ankle. Not sure when she will return.

The BU story has Devyn with only 21. Anyway, here's the story:

Junior Devyn Flanagan scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting and was one of five Bradley players to score in double figures as she helped the Bradley women's basketball team to an 85-43 victory over Quincy Sunday in the Braves final exhibition game.

Ashley has had so much trouble with injuries. I really hope this doesn't hamper her all season. I'd really like to see her close out her career with a pain free campaign
Lift up your hearts and sing, lift up thy light
Let all your voices ring, Hail Red and White!
Red for courage, strength and right
          White for purity
          Shining as a beacon light
          For the University
          Go onward, ever onward
          Let courage and truth prevail
          To Bradley University
          All Hail! Hail! Hail!

She really looked good the previous game. That is the key for her, staying injury free.

I agree. She can be a great asset to the team if she stays healthy. She certainly deserves an injury free campaign, she's always been such a hard worker and I'd love to see her have a successful year! Good luck Ashley!
