I just talked to Jordan and his mom and dad. JP is walking around with some pain, but not much. He is not using the crutches he had last night, but has an elastic brace on the knee. The knee was X-rayed and examined, but they might still do an MRI when he returns to Peoria. Jordan will not play tonight, but the doctors told him that with the right brace (they have ordered a specific brace for him) he could possibly play Sunday. Because the injury doesn't involve any weight-bearing parts of the joint, he would not risk doing any more harm by playing, but it depends on whether they can obtain the correct brace, and whether all the swelling and pain subside before tomorrow.

wait a minute -- this is is in total conflict with what we were told by the local media...
"Jordan Prosser dislocated his left kneecap and is done for the season."

Im sorry, but what parts of the knee arent weight bearing

Ive dislocated each of my knees twice and each time I was out for a good 4-6 weeks minimum. Now if he sublixated it, which is not a full dislocation, then yeah, he might be able to play on Sunday. It depends on how the muscles and ligaments react and heal. An X-Ray wont tell you much on a dislocation. An MRI is really the only way to see if there was any real damage.

Just my 2 cents, but if it was reported as a dislocation of the left knee, then I have no problem with them publishing he was done for the year. Because in all likelihood that would be the diagnosis at this point in the season if it is in fact a dislocation and not a sublixation.

That's exactly what this doctor said.

          DC-

Not to throw the negative PJS under the bus but I think the point they'd be making is even if he could play on Sun, both him and the team playing would be a miracle...

Is this game on in HD in Peoria? Here in Missouri on Fox sports Midwest on DISH Network it is not offered in HD? Anyone else have this problem?

The kneecap and the joint between it and the bones behind it (femur and tibia) are not considered weight bearing joints. And a dislocation of the kneecap is not nearly as serious as a dislocated knee. I meant to say JP could play Saturday if they got a brace. It's probably a moot point and I suspect JL wouldn't take a chance anyway.

It's a moot point now anyways...

This game is all of about wrapped up with Dyricus no showing...

We're never gonna get back in this thing without him and Dodie picking things up and actually playing against Wichita State this year.

Fatigue is also a clear factor. We only play 7-8 guys because of all the injuries. And WSU plays 10 guys and they all get a lot of rest. It is obvious on defense as well as offense.

This is becoming very apparent down the stretch here vs the shockers. If Warren would have hit that 3 would have made it pretty interesting. This team will not quit, which is awesome and what you love to see.

Guys at that age should not be fatigued...

I played and play organized ball...and we don't have coaches to tell us to come out...

This game aint over yet! Warren with a big 3 to make it a 10 point game with 1:44 left.

Good D on the inbounds play and forces Wichita to call a TO
