NW Mizzoo lead 25-20 at the 6:35 mark. Scored one FT with about 3 minutes left. Scored one other basket to finish the half with 28.

In fact, NW Mizzoo went the last 9:12 with only ONE basket off a steal.

Sounds like the BU defense was wearing them down.

Kinds reminiscent of the WSU/BU Game with twin towers Levingston & Carr where we held them to 11 pts in 2nd half.....................except this is NWM and they su@k.

This needs to be a 30+ point win

              I'll take it

Just shy of 30, but I'll take it!

              Bring on DePaul

                Pretty good call B4L.

I am a little pumped. But I must say... the first 5 to 8 minutes of the game were pretty ugly.

                  Better than predicted

It's been said on this board before but this team WILL be better than expected. DePaul will be a test with their HUGE size. If we can change the dynamics of the game with great and quick defense AND hit the outside shot we WILL win!

Crouch will need to hit a career high.

Salley will need to step up and be tough down low and on the boards.

Zach will have to be Zach and be a beast on the boards.

Ruff and Franklin will need to force a lot of turnovers and have 8+ steals.

If this happens we'll win! I know the naysayers hear will rip this to shreds, but tough! Get with the program!

I'm calling for a 10+ point win over DePaul!

DR..WF...and ZA all played a good game! But for future reference........Andrew Warren will be a player........for a true freshman the kid has game.....a good defender already.....he has a big future! For the Braves to look to win...JJ needs to look for a shot more often and MS will get more used to the speed of D1 ball! JC is shooting better and all the players.............once they settled down after the 5 minute mark played decent D and I didn't here the steals total but the # has to be up there!

PS.......We need everyone to try and come to the DePaul game.....you will get a FREE towel and shirt! And Please wear RED!

Agreed. Andrew played great defense. The best Bradley played (especially coming back from the early deficit) was when AW was on the court.

But the best player on the court, by far, was Daniel Ruffin. I think he is starting to look like and dominate games like Nate Archibald did. 23 points and a lot of assists (official stats not posted yet).

Zach looked good, as long as he doesn't try to force his game. He looks like he should be good for a double-double most games.

Salley has to keep adjusting to the faster and more physical style, and Jassey needs to really work on his defense. Everyone else was their usual solid self.

This group is very entertaining. Fun to watch.
I know this was just a Div II opponent, but they seem to have a lot of ways to score and I was impressed with the defense, too.
Anyone who isnt impressed that Ruff is the best PG in the league hasn't seen him play. He makes the other team's guards look silly most of the time.
Anyone know how many assists he had?
From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."

And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

I don't know about the assist totals, but I would guess 10+.
He would have had about 5-6 more, but Matt Salley missed about 5 point-blank layups, and fumbled a couple more easy assist passes because he wasn't ready for them. I am sure he'll clean that up.
