Update on a couple former local players

Michael Rembert had 16 points and 9 rebounds in SEMOs first exhibition against Westminister on Thursday night.

But in SEMO's 2nd exhibition game in 2 days, this one against Division II Kentucky Wesleyan, the leading scorer was KWU's Rodney Edgerson with 24 points in 30 minutes of play. However, SEMO won in convincing fashion 103-72. Michael Rembert started and had 8 points and 3 rebounds in 22 minutes.

Kentucky Wesleyan has traditionally been one of the top powerhouses in Div II basketball. But this year they will struggle a little. They lack size. They only have a couple players over 6-foot, and Edgerson is about their tallest player

And another local kid, Blake Mishler will play his first college game, an exhibition, as East Tennessee State plays this afternoon at 4 pm against Mars Hill College.
Blake looked good in their intrasquad scrimmage with 14 points and 6 rebounds.--
