Tonight shows why les should be retained. Those players played. for each other and for their coach and their program.

The more I think about it, Les has done everything to try to hold onto this group of guys...not so much to hold onto his job. That's classy.
It must have been so tough to keep these guys playing with the intensity they have had after the 2 heart-breaking losses to ISU (red) and not to lose heart throughout the season after their winless drought.

Some of us have been harping on poor player rotations and zero bench depth most of the year and then he plays BOTH and both give great production...
Anthony in fact flat out played a healthy Will Egolf and Milos outscored everyone but I believe Dyricus and Jake in the 1st half, yet both hardly ever see the light of day...
While this was a great win and I could tell the players had something extra, it seemed as though Jim was doing things that are completely out of the norm for his coaching...

They need to come out with the same intensity tonight and jump on the Shox early and never look back!

Those guys are not going to get better til they play in games!
We talkin about practice man!

Because hell, Dean Smith even said he wasn't a good practice player

And did someone just compare AT to Michael Jordan?
I made a statement based on another statement...
As if our team isn't that great, especially inside...
Do you really believe Sticks will get that much better in practice with them?
There is a ceiling ya know, and sometimes you just gotta throw guys in and see what sticks! Prime example, Walt at UTM

Wassup with Kirk Wessler?
He was at courtside and watched the Bradley win over Drake. But he did not write a column about the game, or the St. Louis experience for the Braves and fans. In fact, I am staying at the team hotel and he hasn't been around here at all. Just wondered why if he is such a fan of Bradley, he wouldn't want to check out what's going on here, or report something about last night's game, the team, and everything else. It's not as if there is nothing to report.
I guess since there is nothing negative, he decided to just goof off down here in St. Louis on the PJ Star's money? I expect we'll get a rerun of his same column about Jim Les on Monday. From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."
And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

Here is one columnist who was busy and found something at the MVC Tournament to write a column about. Brian Burwell of the St. Louis Post Dispatch-
Burwell: MVC tournament offers a delightful desperation
