There are stats and facts that you cannot deny are true, one's that paint Les' tenure in a bad light. No question.
I also have no problem with Wessler giving his opinion, although I am sure that whatever relationship he and JL had is now over.
I do have issues with some statements that seem to cloud the fact/opinion threshold:
On the other hand, it also includes the record of player indiscretions that have been reported by the media, as well as those that haven??™t. Evidence?
At some point, you have to be able to adjust, cope and overcome ??” rather than be derailed. Not sure what this means. The injuries are JL's fault?
Injuries can and do have an impact on the quality of play, but they should not manifest in lack of effort, focus, tenacity and discipline. Too often, I watch Bradley and find those intangibles missing in action. Really? I see effort all of the time.
Year after year, that??™s what we see the most, even when the Braves are healthy. That's why, after nine years, the Les record is what it is. Again, I see effort almost every game. Not sure how this is all of the sudden a program problem.
The actual butts in seats numbered 7,871, an eye-popping 26 percent no-show rate that was more the norm than the exception. I thought this was unreleased info? Did he make it up?
I agree that KW is on his way out, and wants to take Les with him.
And the timing, sheesh.
