Exactly. Pre-emptive in case BU does well.

There are stats and facts that you cannot deny are true, one's that paint Les' tenure in a bad light. No question.

I also have no problem with Wessler giving his opinion, although I am sure that whatever relationship he and JL had is now over.

I do have issues with some statements that seem to cloud the fact/opinion threshold:

On the other hand, it also includes the record of player indiscretions that have been reported by the media, as well as those that haven??™t.
    Evidence?

At some point, you have to be able to adjust, cope and overcome ??” rather than be derailed. Not sure what this means. The injuries are JL's fault?

Injuries can and do have an impact on the quality of play, but they should not manifest in lack of effort, focus, tenacity and discipline. Too often, I watch Bradley and find those intangibles missing in action. Really? I see effort all of the time.

Year after year, that??™s what we see the most, even when the Braves are healthy. That's why, after nine years, the Les record is what it is. Again, I see effort almost every game. Not sure how this is all of the sudden a program problem.

The actual butts in seats numbered 7,871, an eye-popping 26 percent no-show rate that was more the norm than the exception. I thought this was unreleased info? Did he make it up?

I agree that KW is on his way out, and wants to take Les with him.

    And the timing, sheesh.

[COLOR="Red"]I agree that KW is on his way out, and wants to take Les with him.
I think he is saying the injuries are not Jim's fault. But, the team needs to overcome at some point. IOW, you can't let the injuries always prevent you from winning.

As far as the effort issue goes, I saw too many times where BU seemed to lack focus or discipline. Coach Les even references the times where guys are or were not buying into what he and the other coaches were telling them. I think that might be the direction of that comment.

Even if KW is on his way out, he holds no power over the fate of Coach Les. Unless the PJStar has some unknown power card at BU.

I think a lot of people on here forget that. There isn't a single person that posts here that will have a drop of input on the decision one way or another (unless JGlasser and MCross have secret identities).

your statement is not true....there already has been input and will be more from some who post here....
The decision will be made at some point after a review of all the evidence and input

I've heard from pretty reliable sources that the decision has been made.

it is completely impossible for everything people have "heard from reliable sources" to be true because some of the things heard are completely polar opposites and negate each other.

                    We agree on that one.

But I will say this...if the administration doesnt know by now its sort of scary.

You can know, barring something unforseen..

                    Ridiculous examples on both sides:

6 BU players, get arrested tonight

BU wins 6 in a row to a sweet 16 etc.

there are definitely things they do NOT know yet...like what percentage of the fan base or the big time supporters and donors want which option..and where the $$ would come from if they went looking...

Since the JS is running a poll to vote whether Coach Les should be fired or kept shouldn't, in all fairness, there be a poll as to whether to fire Wessler or to keep him? How many times do you think KW has voted in the Les poll? His fingers are probably blistered from pounding on the yes key!

Not true. I got an email yesterday from the highest possible source, and she says no decision has been made.

I really want to stay out of that...

But if they don't have educated guesses in the least on that...

                            Its concerning to me....

And I'm fairly certain they are much less concerned about that than you are...

But wait, wasn't it some of you that said you're not a real fan if you take your ball and go home because of a decision being made...

Well doesn't that make the donors who pull money not real fans?

The score is tied 1-1 and we're into Sudden Death...

There has to be a winner and there most certainly will be a loser...

While I may want a change, I will still be a BU fan next year...

Not sure I can say the same for the rest of the population!
