OK - I'll bite -- and again -- really nice work Joe, you do the Valley proud!
I would not have Odum on the 1st Team All Conference, you simply HAVE TO put a guy from the Shockers there...and I'd select Durley..and I'd have Odum no higher than 3rd team, and move Fay to 2nd team -- he a great player but had little help on SIU
And I know I am biased, but if we look only at IN CONFERENCE competition...and...if we are going three teams deep...
then I would definitely put Dyricus on the 3rd team....
He is Top 10 in scoring, Top 10 in FG%, Top 10 in FT%, 4th in assists, and 6th in A/T...
I like Carl Richard also -- but he is in the Top 10 of ONLY ONE single stat category compared to FIVE categories for DSE...(he's 6th in rebs)

IF they had a most improved from the start of the season to the end DSE and JP would be on for sure.
BOTH guys were instrumental....well put it this way BOTH guys made huge leaps by the end of the year.
JP's was a pleasant surprise as he started out shaky...DSE's was more a relief as we knew he could play and it looked as if he had forgot how.

BTW -- Joe -- Dwayne Lathan is by many people's measure -- Indiana State's best player...
he is their senior leader, top scorer, and one of their best rebounders and defenders...
yet you have two guys on Indiana State ranked ahead of him in the All Conference positioning...I might have Lathan on the 2nd or 3rd team instead of Richard

T - I agree that Lathan is one of their best players. However, in conference play, he suffered a concussion that took him quite some time to recover from.
He missed three games, then played like he was foggy for a few more. He actually didn't crack the starting lineup again until Feb.5 - a span of 10 games from when he was injured.
He had a 20pt game near the end, but still only averaged 8.1 points in league play and shot 32.7% from the field - hardly a 2nd- or 3rd-teamer.Don't putt until the cup stops movin'

Great job Joe! I agree with most of what you said, but can't put Odum on the 1st team...or even 2nd team for that matter. He is a nice player and will turn into a stud next year, but isn't a top 5 or top 10 player just yet.
I also think that DSE should be a 3rd teamer. His play in the past 10 games ranks among the 10 best statistically and I think most coaches in the Valley would agree that he is among the 15 best players in the conference.
Aside from these nitpicks, I think you nailed it.#DunkOnYou
