  • St. Louis- pregame party information

For the first time in many years, the MVC tournament coincides with the week leading up to Mardi Gras St. Louis.
Here is a list of Mardi Gras events-

The Grand Parade, Sat. March 5, is a huge parade in Soulard and a lot of fun. Lots of beads tossed around!

Here is the Arch Madness website with everything you want to know about the 2011 State Farm MVC Tournament-

Bradley plays Drake in the 8:35 pm game Thursday night, March 3rd.
That should give everyone time to get off work and head down to St. Louis to support the Braves!

    MVC Hotel information-

Bradley's official team hotel is the Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel.
They have plenty of rooms available this year.

    One more note-
Bradley has arranged pregame parties again this year prior to every Bradley game, March 3-6!
There will be a pregame party starting 3 hours prior to each game's tipoff at:
    J. Buck's Restaurant
    1000 Clark St.
Located 3 blocks east of Scottrade Center (toward arch)
There is plenty of parking available near the Scottrade Center or near J. Bucks, and there will be lots of room at the restaurant, especially on Thursday night.

Here is a suggestion someone PMed me regarding the Thursday night game. Let us know what you think.-

Since the game prior to Bradley's game is Illinois State vs. Southern Illinois (6:00 pm), we suggest that Bradley fans who arrive at the Scottrade Center early, please wear something maroon, which you can later remove or swap to show your Bradley "red" when the BU game starts (there will be time to go out to your car to change).

That way you will not be confused for a fan supporting ISU!

      Thank you.

We're going. I'm not letting a down year break my streak, and I want to see us earn another shot at WSU.

You could go neutral and go for a Black Out! Maybe a White Out as well?
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

Last year's pregame was very nice. Got to meet some fellow posters.

Although I am not taking my one friend who hit a table and spilled all of our drinks. He is on a one year suspension from the Valley tourney

I might night make Thursday's pregame party because the first game will be going, but will try.
