  • Congrats to MSU BEARS

    And Coach Martin. Thrilling game!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

Agreed! Congrats to the Bears and Cuonzo Martin. It was quite evident that it was emotional win for Cuonzo. He did what Spoonhour, Alford, and Hinson couldn't - he won the MVC.
    Onward and Upward!

Yes, congrats to the Bears on what was an instant classic type of game with a conference championship on the line! And with the season sweep of WSU, the Bears showed why they are the only team from the Valley deserving of even an outside shot at an at-large bid.

It was pointed out during the game that every Valley regular season champion has made the NCAA Tournament since 1993, with the one exception being Creighton in 2009 as one of the two teams tied for the championship that year. However, with MSU finishing as the undisputed Valley champion this year, I think their chances at an at-large bid might be a bit better than some believe, especially if they can make it to the championship game of the Valley tourney.

HEY, CBS just showed a quick highlight of the game, proving the Valley is still a very competitive conference despite them being down a bit this year.

Oh, and back to the game, this is a court storming that is most certainly deserved!

Yes he won the regular season title, because of their overall record and not having any big time wins they have to win the tour. or they will not get into the big dance.

That remains to be seen, and I am not sure I agree with you. An MVC regular season champ with 15 or more league wins has never been left out of the NCAA's. But if there was ever a school to get the NCAA scr-w job, it would be Missouri St.

I agree with Real Fan... If Missouri State doesn't win the tournament, then the NCAA starts to look at their schedule and their 138 SOS.
            Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

WSU twice. That's not great in the eyes of the committee, but still very good nonetheless.
