You can't have it both ways. You can't say it is about the entire body of work, then parse, and dissect this season and claim the injuries didn't hurt JL because AW and DD would have graduated if not for them. Injuries like theirs are always a detriment.
You ignore that without injuries, Bradley would be able to recruit and fill their roster with other players, and overall, they would be far better off with a healthy, full roster.

You completely ignore that without injuries, Bradley would be able to recruit and fill their roster with other players, and overall, they would be far better off with a healthy, full roster
I'm not having it both ways. I am looking at the body of work, and at this year in particular. Isn't it possible to do both? It's like looking at just 2005-06 as a season and understanding it was a great run but also not being happy with the entire body of work.

I agree with you 100%. Without injuries Bradley would have a full, healthy roster. No doubt. The talent of that roster is what is debatable. I think every team in America would be better off with a full and healthy roster.

Really? You really think the Administration is thinking that? I think you overestimate A LOT with that statement t. That's just silly. smh

Wait... we forgot a four guard lineup!
                  Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Coachdude..you are right, you are at a loss

Remember, without injuries Dodie and Andrew wouldn't be on the roster this year. They are fifth year guys who are only here because of their own injuries.

So do we want to be 100% injury free or get to use some injuries/redshirts to make us better the next year?

Ahh, NEXT YEAR. I love it

see that is where I am at a loss...how can we look at what it would have been like if someone would have been healthy two years ago and not played this year? It makes zero sense...injuries happen all the time and play a role in how a team does...I rather be injury free, but the likelyhood of that is zero as well...like the proverbial dead horse...the subject of injuries and effect it should or should not have had on this season has been discussed over and over and over again....it hurt...bad...love the players we have and support them...but SM and TB would have been huge this year...as would a, healthy all season, DSE and JE and now DD....

Of course coachdude, but every program in America can say that. That's been my point.

For the record--two things I don't do as a fan---I don't play the "what if" game and look back that way and I don't ever talk about officials and the outcome of games. Not that you cared what I thought

I am sorry that this thread was allowed to veer so far off course. We are not going to allow unhappy fans to take shots at the administration or at the generous donors who support Bradley's athletics.
I think we have heard all sides of the "change" argument. And since it there is not currently a job opening at Bradley, the thread will be locked.
