    will he come to bradley?

According to Scout.com the only two teams on MR are BU & Illinois w/BU already offering. So with JL's recruiting ability, I'd say BU's chances are as good as any.

Bradley would love to have him. He would see significant playing time right away at Bradley- it would be a great fit.

I believe Illinois St. has also offered Roth. At least according to midstatehoops.com. I thought I remember seeing that on Chicagohoops as well. I don't think either source is as reliable as scout.com, but i heard Roth was offered by Moser.

Dinma Odiakosa 6'8 255......The Nigerian Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 37 points and 27 boards in 2 wins over Bradley. "Will Egolf is 6'9 and he had 4 rebounds. That's not good enough and he's not good enough"....Dick Versace 2/9/10

Either or Roth or Fruendt should fill that last scholarship for '08. Daniel West and Xavier Crawford have already laid claime to the other 2. My first preference is Fruendt.

For those of us who have watched Matt play for WCHS the past two years, it's easy to say we want him to stay home and play for BU. He would undoubtedly become a crowd favorite because of his unlimited range from 3 pt. territory.

With that being said, Fruendt would provide more size at the 2 guard than Roth, plus I think Matt is still working on his overall floor game.

I would be happy with either player in a BU uniform!

Why all this Love for Matt Roth? Before injuring his knee, Danny Adams had averaged more points, both in his Junior year and his abreviated Senior year, against similar competition. Danny is also 2 inches taller than Roth and NEVER received this attention.
I saw Danny play in High School and currently Matt Roth. They are and were both good, but I do not see that big of difference.
In fact, I would take Danny because of "want to" and size.

                Significant playing time?
With Jeremy Fears, DeArron Williams, and Jeremy Crouch all 2 guards and Sam Maniscalco and Ruff back at the 1, where?

Roth is a 2-guard who can really light it up. That's something Bradley doesn't have. The only other player among the ones you listed who's game is close to Roth's game is Jeremy Crouch. There will be plenty of available minutes for a kid like Roth who has the kind of shooting touch he has.

You could have said the same thing last year about Illinois. How could Jamar Smith expect to play with all the guards Illinois had? Well, if you can shoot like he did, they will find time for you.

Matt Roth is a high school junior.
He is two years away from being at BU should he decide to come here, so by the time he is a freshman, Crouch and Ruffin will be gone and Fears, Williams, Tauai, Franklin, and Adam will all be gone. Bradley frequently uses a 3-guadr offense, so why wouldn't you want Mniscalco playing point with RB and Matt Roth on the wings lighting it up?

diffference is that math is a better shooter but danny was taller. neither could create their own shot.they both need a system. bu provides that system.

My Bad on Crouch and Ruffin being gone. Since he started in High school as a Freshman, it seems as though Roth has been around, like forever.
I believe he would be a welcome addition to The Braves, I just believe he would not be an immediate impact player.
I will tell you one thing, the kid has mental toughness and does not back down from anyone.

Better shooter? I believe Danny averaged close to 23pts. per game his Junior year and when he was injured his Senior year, he was averaging over 28ppg.
The difference being, Roth was surrounded by better players and did not have to be the only scoring threat, but I do not believe he is a "better shooter."

Good recall Grassman, whattya got a photogenic memory?

But according to the two mothers of all accurate numbers,
                            BradleyFans and bubraves.com,
Danny averaged 27.5ppg, 7.8rpg as a junior in high school at Metamora
and he averaged 28.5ppg, 10.4rpg in his six games as a senior before his injury.
He was 43% from 3-point range, and in football averaged 15 yds per carry!

They are both a step slow to be good defenders at the next level.
