I disagree with one of your comments...

"it showed the TV audience (of which I was a member) that there is still passion in the series."

au contraire...it showed the TV audience whose fan base are the silliest and have now claimed the all time worst example of rushing the court!

I'll add a 7th positive thought: at least we're not CalTech

The Caltech men's basketball team ended a 26-year conference losing streak Tuesday night after posting a 46-45 victory over Occidental in the team's regular-season finale on senior night.

          Hmm...here's my one...

The season is two games from over and most of us can look forward to baseball :-)

But really T...the only thing worse than the celebration is you complaining about it...it just sounds like sour grapes...

Just say it was stupid and pointless and leave it at that...continuously going on about it like some of you have just makes you seem like even bigger sore losers!

They beat us twice...this was their Valley championship in their students minds...that's for them to decide, not us...

While that may be what they strive for, we should strive for that and much more...

But as the saying goes, keep doing what you're doing and you'll keep gettin what you're gettin...

Exactly. Where's BBFan'77/PJStarGuy now? I don't go to the other board any more, but I have told him in the past ISU treats the Bradley game as their National Title game and they will rush the court against us... whalla - in a battle for 9th place, it's ISU's National Title game.

Ok -- let me raise this question.

What if our next coach, and I hope that's years away, comes in and says (a la Lovie) that his first goal is beating ISU, his second goal is winning the Valley and his third is advancing deep in the NCAA tourney. Would that be acceptable to anyone?

In other words, they are two out of 18 games... I don't think anyone should treat it as a national championship. I wasn't a fan of storming the court, though I can understand it given the state of the programs.

No, not acceptable. Winning the valley comes before beating isu. If youre regularly winning the valley the other thing takes care of itself.

I clearly, then, have a different concept of what a sore loser is...

I consider a sore loser someone who gets mad, blames the coach, turns on the players, turns on other fans/posters, wants everyone fired, and thinks they know better how to build a winner..always looking for someone to blame and lay the fault on...

Instead, I am not sore at all....show me any such evidence...I am instead quite hopeful, optimistic, still wearing red and supporting my team 100% (unlike a lot of people who lay claim to being Bradley fans) and having a good time being a good fan..
I will be here still supporting my team unlike so-called-fans who say right out openly on the message board...
"i'm done watching/listening/caring for this season"

So call it what you want, but to me a sore loser is one who blames everyone else and quits right when his team needs him the most.

True fans will support their team no matter what. That doesn't mean you have to like what's going on, but turning your back on them during tough times isn't right.

I'm not pointing fingers at anyone... I just happen to agree with T on this one.

I also agree with these statements.
