Pross is a good player because he doesn't make a lot of mistakes, and fans notice that. The problem is, he really is only effective guarding post players. anyone who can step out and face the basket, he's not going to do well.
That is true about Prosser, but Egolf could have guarded Wilkins, Lewis, or Ekey and had Prosser guard Carmichael.
I know Prosser had 4 fouls, but he gets almost all of the big rebounds and BU needs him in the game on defense. I also know JL likes Eastman on offense and that is fine. Here is a novel idea - how about play offense/defense with substitutions late in the game? MANY other coaches do this, and when is the last time JL ever did anything like this? Bring in Jake for offense and Prosser for defense so there is no big mismatch inside and on the boards on D?
