Let's just be prepared and remember: "These (are) two bad men’s college basketball teams playing a bad game that (likely will be) badly officiated."
hahaha. That sounds about the norm. Well at least the officiating part mostly every year. I think the officials get caught up in the intesity because of the fans and the games usually turns into make-up call after make-up call.
Whats the over/under set at for T's in this game? (2.5 maybe)
Carmichael is coming off an ankle sprain. He missed their game Feb. 16 at Creighton, and played only 22 minutes Saturday at Western Michigan, and was not real effective (6 points, 3 rebounds).
Maybe we can hold him under the career high he scored the last time he played us (24 points on Jan. 26).
Yeah, let's hold him to under 20!
Maybe we can even stop him from a double-double!
Dogs - don't EVER read my post when you're drinkin' soda! Hope I didn't cause you to make a big mess!
When I went back to read my post, it kinda' gave me a laugh too.
Beating a 3-13 team doesn't exactly put anyone on the "next level", does it?
I think it would give the team a big boost to overtake ISU in the standings for that #9 seed , considering having to "overcome adversity" (a staple now of BU hoops) and after starting out 0-11.
You explained it well in your follow-up post before I posted and I agree with your premise.....it was STILL funny though.
Im sure it will be officiated poorly against Bradley because the NCAA is out to get us, always has been, always will be
Hey..lets wait to see if we win or lose before we start blaming anyone....and remember if its not the refs we still have Wessler....the PJ Star....the old facilities.....etc.
hey -- come on -- it's not often we are battling for last place...at least in the rare year we are, then allow us the favor of finding someone else to blame our misfortune on!
BTW -- anyone notice something I've noticed...
neither our board nor the Redbird board has much trash talking....
I guess when both teams have really bad records....it's a little out of line to talk trash...but we can still try!!

There's a reason I went out and bought a new black BU shirt today. I only had one and didn't feel comfortable wearing a shirt that says "One Tradition: Win" into enemy territory.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
Thanks...I just snorted my soda out my nose. Not pickin on you I was just thinking about that "next level."
Come on dogsrus, this isn't that difficult to figure out!
We're talking about the team finishing strong to a point where they can pick right up where they left off this year (the last ten games or so, that is) and hopefully continue to win as consistently as they have over the last three weeks. Of course we're not going to finish higher than ninth. It's too late in the season to evaluate our team based on conference finish and overall record. But it is not too late to evaluate how we have played over the past month, and that's obviously the last thing this team will remember, how they finished.
I know "past performance does not always guarantee future results", but at least finishing strong should give this team the confidence to continue this trend through next season, even without AW and DD. Trending in the right direction is always a very important way to end a season, and this season just happens to have the same feel as Coach Mo's second season. That was a season where Bradley started out 6-14, but won 5 of their last 7. And that momentum continued the following year to a 23-8 record and a NIT quarterfinal appearance. And that was the first of four straight postseason appearances, 3 NIT's and 1 NCAA Tournament. So to downplay the end of an otherwise bad season is not the way to build confidence for those players coming back next year.
