If JL is out of here in 20 days or there-about, then I will immediately post an apology to KW. Will KW do the same if JL is not gone?
When the news broke yesteday, I did issue an apology to KW, but it was quickly buried in the non-stop posts on yesterday's thread. Not to go go over board with mea culpas and apologies, but I thought it would be more appropriate to state the apology on the original thread.
So here it is, "Sorry KW, you were right and I was wrong. I apologize for for my comments."
It is a good rule in life never to apologize. The right sort of people do not want apologies, and the wrong sort take a mean advantage of them.

that brings up an interesting theoretical question...
what if I am a reporter and I hear someone say that Player X has been caught doing drugs and it going to be expelled in fewer than 20 days...
do I go ahead and report it even if no statement or confirmation comes from the university?
Then even if said player is mysteriously expelled, even if no explanation is given, then was I right to go public with it just because it turned out to appear accurate?

Depends on the source you heard it from.
The source that told me about Les last week was a very good one. Therefore, I knew it to be true.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
