Thursday's 8 pm ESPN2 broadcast of the Big East game with DePaul at Providence will feature an all-female broadcast team. Beth Mowins and Doris Burke willl provide the play-by-play and commentary. It is the first time in 11 years that an all-female broadcast team has done a national broadcast.

I have seen a lot of these two, and I like Doris Burke doing commentary. Mowins is a little boring to listen to on play-by-play, but with Burke, they'll do a good job. Too bad they couldn't get a better game than between 2 of the worst teams in the Big East. Providence is in 14th place and DePaul is in 16th place.

Exactly DC. I have always hated listening to female announcers. They just don't do it for me. Let 'em roam the sidelines in tight sweaters like Erin Andrews. Then I'm happy.

When posting, note there are some icons above the text box.
The icon that looks like a small picture of mountains and sun is for inserting a picture. If you hold your cursor over each icon, it should reveal what it's purpose is. To insert a picture, place the cursor in the text box where you want the picture (usually below your message). Then click on the Image icon, and a new box will open. Place the web address for the image into the new box and you're done.

I have to ask... Who cares its freaking Depaul and Providence? If I am spending a whole lot of time watching that game who the announcers are probably the least of my worries
