Jank got one starter right -- Hill had a great game...
but the other four starters, in 106 combined minutes were 5-25, and scored just 12 pts.

Kenny Lawson just 2 pts in 13 minutes...not even a single made basket.....he has to be absolutely hating the facts that he stayed to play for the new coach.
This is totally destroying any chance he had of playing professional ball after his college career...he'd be getting 35 min, and putting up 20 ppg/10 rpg if he'd have transferred to BU!

No kidding. I just do not understand this at all. Obviously things are going on behind the scenes but he is one of the more talented guys in the MVC.

Jank seems to play way too many guys, way too many minutes. I don't quite get it but I don't want him to figure it out anytime soon.

Basically when Mac became coach of Creighton he had to clear time for his own kid to play the frontcourt...
Lawson got some time early...but then as soon as Mac got Echenique eligible he decided to go with the kid who is going to be his center the next two years and so Lawson gets the short stick.

Still baffling to me how CU is so average this year. Biggest underachiever in the league IMO.
          Onward and Upward!

Mac ran a ton of plays in cedar falls.

Not sure if he is still that way, but it probably takes time.

I feel bad for lawson though. Wow..that kid has fallen further than any mvc guy i can remember

I dont know if its as simple as getting his own kid playing time. His kid should be playing alot as well. To me a front line of McDermott at the three, Lawson the 4 and Echenique at center would be BCS like.

I'm with BBrave and SRW. I don't understand how CU isn't winning the league or right there.
