Here are the top candidates based on their performances this past week...
there really weren't many guys who had TWO good games...but here are a few of the best...
-Dyricus Simms-Edwards - his team was 1-1 this week, and DSE had games of 6 pts/6 reb/5 asst and 25 pts/8 rebs
-Toure Murry - Wichita State - his team also split 1-1 this week, Toure had 16 pts/6 rebs and 15 pts/9 pts
-Jake Odum -Indiana State - his team won both games this week, Jake had 13 pts/8 rebs and 20 pts/10 rebs
-Kyle Weems - Missouri State - his team won both games and Kyle had 27 pts/6 rebs and 21 pts/6 rebs
-Greg Echenique - Creighton - his team went 1-1, Greg had 11 pts/5 rebs and 12/14 rebs
Given the tendency to always give the award to someone whose team won both games during the week...
then I think it comes down to Weems or Odum.
Weems will get the POW and Odum will repeat as the NOW
