With 3 games left. here's how I see the 2010-11 MVC Regular Season finishing up:

14-4 Missouri State
14-4 Wichita State
12-6 Indiana State
10-8 Creighton
10-8 Evansville
10-8 Northern Iowa
7-11 Drake
7-11 Southern Illinois
5-13 Bradley
4-14 Illinois State

How do others see it?

Who do u have ISU beating?
 
It will take nothing short of a miracle for BU to get to the number 7 position, mainly because of the sweep of SIU by the drake. Both would have to lose out and BU win out. The drake losing out is a good possibility if only their lone home game wasnt evansville, who I think they will throttle on senior night. I still see Wichita winning the league, despite playing the finale in Springfield. I just dont think the Bears are that good, seeing as we almost beat them last week and they have been down in the 2nd half at home a couple times already. That is why I want the 7-10 game so badly, because even if we win the 8-9, we meet certain doom at noon Friday playing the Shux whereas playing the bears might give us a shot at the first ever 1-8 upset in our league tourney. We also will strugll with either SIU or the Drake and would have an easier game with ISU Red. First things first, beat UNI!!

The interesting thing on all this is that the 7-10 winner has at least a better chance to rest up

We send Wichita, Missouri State, and MAYBE Indiana State to NCAA tournament this year.
 
I'm just focused on the bottom 4 results:

T7 Drake (7-11)
T7 SIU (7-11)
9 BU (6-12)
10 ISU (4-14)

Winners play WSU and MSU

2 things I want...
1. To beat Bradley for the 5th straight time
2. Finishing on the opposite side of WSU

I'd also prefer to not play Bradley in StL. Much like Josh Young last season, I don't want to be the team standing between a great player and the end of their career.
 
I have stated since January that I want to play in the 7-10 game because I think Wichita will win the league and our best chance to advance is Mo St. But with last night's results, it is becoming clearer that a likely loss to ISU next week means we will play Drake back to back. Les has done well as evidenced by last years thrashing of CU after playing them in the reg season finale. My question is...since we'd be locked in 10th anyway, do we purposely show Drake a different look Saturday to increase our chances in the game that really matters Thursday?(i.e- different lineup, defenses,etc)
