  • Congratulations Braves

This was probably our best game of the year. Les and staff had the team prepared and executed a good game plan. Jake Eastman had his best game as a Brave; an absolute scrappy stud! DSE was just not to be denied. He's starting to really adjust to the PG role and get more comfortable. Dodie played well as did Drew. And I'm proud of Egolf for battling back from an absolutely horrible start. The Pross was the Boss!

Keep it up fellas and sweep St. Lou!!

I agree with everything you posted on here except Will. If you asked him I bet he wasn't happy with his game tonight. We also need Jr. to get his game going he was awful tonight and I bet he would agree. Some nights you have games like that but he needs to learn that layups should be the only attempts he tries. Very limited range. Something he needs to work on this off season for him to be much future help.

Agreed! What a great game and a great night at Carver. It was fun to see the crowd into the game, the team playing hard...and well, and to see BU win a Valley game convincingly.

Kudos to Coach Les and the entire team. What an excellent night for BU!

Will finally got some rebounds but he needs to start finishing more at the rim, he tends to go away from contact instead of being aggressive and creating contact by going up stronger and making his defender foul him.

Well, I've seen 1 of the last 4 games - unfortunately it was the loss at MSU.
But I think the way they played that game was probably indicative of how BU's been playing the last 4.

I was really getting on JL's case during our long losing streak, but now I'm "close to" willing to give him a chance next season. He has found a way to get this team gelling. It's kind of late in the season, but at least we have some hope for the remainder of the season, and with this team (DSE, JP, JE, WL) and SM & TB (Lord willing), and a couple good-looking recruits expected to make contributions next season, I don't have the "gloom-and-doom" attitude about the program like I did a couple weeks ago.

Let's get a couple more wins in the Valley to continue this fun ride (yeah, it COULD have been more fun) into St. Louis.

            Finish strong BU.

Last 3 MVC games all winnable for the current version of the 2010-11 BU team!
