One of my all time favorite NBA'ers, Walt Frazier, is being honored next Saturday at their BracketBuster game at SIU's newly refurbished arena in Carbondale..

I am happy to see Walt get the recognition and although he never played in the Valley -- they should have done it at a conference game!

Since Walt Frazier has done the Knicks broadcasts for the MSG Network for many years, he is never free the basketball season. They chose the February 19 game against Wisconsin-Green Bay because it is the only SIU home game scheduled during this year's NBA All-Star break. The Knicks are off from Wed. Feb. 16-Wed. Feb. 23, and this game was the only chance to get him back to Carbondale.
