The 2011 McDonald's All American team has been announced-

Note that there are no mid-major recruits on the All Star team (unless you count Memphis as a midmajor). No surprise, as it is rare for a midmajor recruit to get enough publicity which seems to be important to make this team.
Every year there are players selected for the team that have not fully lived up to their hype, and that some experts feel didn't deserve to be picked.

Here is an article that helps explain why- The selection committee is made up of a number of people who are a bit out of touch with the high school recruiting scene, have never seen most of the kids, and probably just rely on hype they have heard about players.

3 of Bradley's recruits, Nate Wells, Donivine Stewart, and Remy Abell were nominated-

just saw a report that in the practices for the upcoming McDonald's All American game a couple injuries have occurred
including a reportedly serious injury to Louisville recruit Wayne Blackshear's shoulder that will keep him from playing
