    I think the initial reaction may be 'why', but I don't question the strategy. I've seen several coaches employ it in the past, some of which have led to victories. In fact, BU was nearly able to steal the Utah game earlier this year if we could have just made a few more FT's ourselves. Les has always employed this strategy, and I don't think it was a bad move. If a 57% FT shooter plays to his percentages, BU may have ended up winning.

      I would like to applaud the last 6 posters....civil discourse on simple strategery witout ONE anti JL mention.

        That's because the discourse has not contained demeaning, blame-the-coach-for-the-loss accusations. See, it is possible to offer different opinions without verbal attacks.
