I think it is hard to predict how someone will do at the next level. Said the same thing in the chat last night regarding Warren's pro chances. How are they going to acclimate to a new situation? How will they handle new responsibilities? Way too many factors that lead to breakouts and busts to be able to accurately predict.

        • Thought we played well last night, also thought a couple of calls or non calls hurt our chances at winning, A.Warren traveled because he was fouled, that would have given us 2 more points and Dunsons basket looked like it should have counted which gives us another point and makes MO.St"s last possession more important because I believe it would have been a 1 point game , no doubt DSE missing front end of a 1 and bonus hurt, just wish we had played like this 2 months ago as the team is definitely playing better as a team because the team that beat us last night is pretty good.
Had Andrew Warrens 3 point shot gone in I doubt anyone would be complaining about it and he has made several this year from that distance, sometimes you need shots like that to go in if you expect to beat good teams on the road.
The only player I do not understand is Will because a 6-9 guy that can jump should be getting us a lot more rebounds.

            .
I agree with this. I didn't have a problem with the shot.

I am not so sure everyone is wrong..I think he'd be a great player with the proper COACHING AND IN THE RIGHT SYSTEM
              Have you not noticed something's up...he went from 10 ppg/5 rpg/40% 3pt shooter...
to suddenly doing nothing.......since facing the team he spurned, he has dropped to 5 ppg/3 rpg/30% 3pt shooting...

Since he chose not to come here I could care less about him or his team, nothing against him personally but who cares about what he is doing now.

                  • Just finished watching the game on tape. I got excited for most of the game. Great game to watch.
I give Les props for preparing his team to play last night.

Missouri St. is a very good 3-pt. shooting team. We contested a lot of those, and they went in.
Weems - deja vu from last year's game in Springfield.

I'm just encouraged by the toughness we showed tonight. Good contributions by most everyone. We played hard, gutsy basketball for about the whole game, which we couldn't say too many times last season. Pretty good shot selection tonight.

I still am hopeful about WL and DSE, though they had some misses toward the last 2 minutes that could have gotten us a chance to win.
AW probably had the worst last 5 minutes of a game this year, but he'll be back!

Not the best ending, but we didn't have anything to lose. And the score was not indicitive of how close it was up until the last 35 seconds. It's important we win our next 2 at home to keep the mo going.

Dodie was a monster tonight! He may give us a chance in St. Louis if he continues to play like this.

Comparing last year's game vs. Mo. State at their place, this was a big difference...except for not containing Weems again. Overall, a great effort by the Braves. For once this year I'll say, if we had either Sammy or Taylor, the outcome may have been different. Not an excuse - just putting into perspective how well we hung in there without 2 major starters.
