Notable stats for today's SIU game

Hey -- I know we're going to be playing on Thursday but there's still some things to be happy about...a road win at SIU doesn't come around every year

The good...
Dyricus was 4-7 and 10-11 from the line for 18 pts
Dyricus had 6 assists and NO turnovers
Andrew Warren had 23 pts, Dodie aded 10 and 6 rebs
Prosser 10 rebs
We outrebounded them - something we don't do very often to SIU
We hit 19 of 23 FT
We frustrated Carlton Fay -- and even tho he had a pretty good game, he didn't kill us and we even got him upset enough he picked up a technical.
Those two technical FT's by Warren we enough to make the difference.

The bad...
outside of a couple buckets by Jake, our bench again gave us nothing -- we need more from Jake, Walt, and the rest
Will Egolf just 6 pts, 1 reb -- we need more from him, too

I think the most refreshing thing that I saw this game was 19-23 on free throws. And it also seems like Dyricus has really figured it out these last couple games. I'd still like to see more Walt Lemon Jr. on the court though. There's no forgetting what he was able to accomplish against Duke.

Fairly obvious DSE has decided to step up his game and give us a 2nd option.

Fairly obvious Egolf is not going to be the player we had hoped he would have become.
