They will miss all 3.
Gene Teague is averaging 9.1 ppg and 5.6 rpg, and he was just getting back to full strength from an ankle injury that caused him to miss several games. His absence will hurt SIU the most, as his inside game is something Bradley was not good at defending.
Mykel Cleveland, a juco transfer from Southwestern Illinois CC, is not much of a scorer (just 3.5 ppg) but he has started their last 6 games and averages 23 minutes per game, and was playing fairly well.
Troy Long, a junior college transfer from Southeastern Illinois CC, was averaging 3.4 ppg as a sub, but he likes to launch threes. He is averging 3 threes per game in only 17 minutes per game, second only to Carlton Fay.

Official press release-
Saluki Athletics announced Friday that three men's basketball players have been suspended for three games for a violation of team rules and the University conduct code. Juniors Mykel Cleveland and Troy Long, and sophomore Gene Teague were cited after an incident on campus on Thursday evening.
"I am extremely disappointed in the actions of our three student-athletes," said Director of Athletics Mario Moccia. "The incident will be reviewed by the University judicial process, and we will not discuss specifics until that process is complete."
This sounds much more serious that just a simple "violation of team rules" as mentioned in the first sentence, especially with the Athletic Director, not just the coach, to be commenting like he does. Also, it sounds like it will go through "the University judicial process", which also suggests it is much more than team rules violation.
We'll have to wait for more information to emerge, but this suggests these players may even face further disciplinary action, possibly including suspension or dismissal from school.

I deal with the law on a daily basis as some of you know...
In all fairness, if this is each guys first offense then this should really be a non-issue...
I can recall incidents such as this or incidents involving paintball guns and unless someone can produce intent to harm or maime the victim then I would expect a slap on the wrist...
As for the University, it's whether the University sees this as a big deal and they feel like these three players need to be made example of...
Kids will be kids...
I myself did a lot of dumb things through my College days, of which I may have hurt myself or a roommate, but most on here can say that, and can also say that you don't think about the worst in every situation....
Sometimes, sh*t just happens to be frank....
I would say 3 games is good enough for me.

I can recall incidents such as this ....
We live in a charged atmosphere where people walk up to congresswomen on the street and gun them down and cities are seeing record numbers of gun crimes and murders...
SOMETHING has to be done to put an end to this insanity....
I think the problem is NOT the guns because they'll always be available from some source....but the irresponsible use and misuse of the guns, and that ANY crime or act using a gun in such an irresponsible way -- ANY GUN -- must be punished very, very severely.
I felt the same when the star freshman player at Kansas got drunk and started shooting people out of his dorm window using a pellet gun, and yet Bill Self saw fit to drop the whole issue and the kid never got a single minute of any suspension or penalty.
At least I partially applaud Chris Lowery for acting immediately and not pulling that BS stuff about waiting to see how the system plays out or standing behind his players until the kids were PROVEN guilty...
BUT -- the perps should be totally kicked off the team -- regardless of 1st offense or whatever.
BUT -- I still think that any crime in which you threaten, shoot, or terrorize another individual with a weapon or a gun MUST have severe punishment...
it's the only way to end the insanity of this stuff happening every single day.
BTW -- many of the recent murders in Peoria, when details are known, were committed by guys who had been previously convicted of other gun crimes....say what ?? you mean we had a chance to get the guy off the street and he was let off easy?? Yup -- that's what's happening.....
Case in point -- the most recent Peoria murder....
...the killer WAS A KNOWN FELON, who was out of prison after assault with a deadly weapon (gun) conviction!
