  • Interesting quote about injuries

From Tom Crean, on losing yet another player to injury.

"I will never be one who subscribes to the bad-luck theory," Hoosiers coach Tom Crean said. "These things just happen. ... We have to battle through it. That's all there is to it.''

One hundred years provides more than several lifetimes full of highlights, some lowlights, and many memories. Here’s a look at 100 years of the Western Golf Association and the Western Open. …

Watford played 15 minutes with a broken hand.

Likewise....Crean's other main injury issue is Maurice Creek who was playing 25 minutes per game coming off one of the most difficult injuries a knee can possibly sustain --suffered a 2nd fracture of the kneecap.

sometimes, this isn't just bad luck, TC, it's bad judgement...

Injuries seem to be making Indiana better. They just took down their 2nd ranked team in less than a week.

And took Michigan State to the wire in their overtime loss
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

I think Indiana might be turning the corner.

How is that possible? They have a ton of injuries and aren't real talented.

Not sure, but haven't BU starters had a tendency to play a ton of minutes the last 3-4 seasons, even before injuries, which, may have contributed to their fragility? ..

Wouldn't be a judgement issue, but, perhaps a result of not having recruited enough quality players to compete?

Makes you wonder about the rankings - huh?

Err, oooopppsss.... The rankings come from the "learn-ed opinion". How dare I question them.

The Coaches Poll might have people like Whiny Williams at Maryland that hates mid-majors. The AP might have writers like ... like... heck, they are the Drive-By Media for crying out loud.

                What do we know? LOL

Certainly makes you wonder how the Big 10 was proclaimed the nation's best league at the beginning of the season.

What I see is that this kinda proves Crean has been playing the wrong players all along...

when forced by injury to put Roth in there and actually give Pritchard a little playing time, then duhhhh....those guys are actually pretty good.
Wonder if they rushed the court again last night after beating Minnesota???

If anyone watched the game, you'd have thought Indiana did something unthought of!!! They actually beat a ranked team without two of their best players!

But...guess what....something those boneheaded, ignorant announcers failed to even notice...
Minnesota was ALSO PLAYING without two of their best players!!
Devoe Joseph and Al Nolen are both out and two other players were playing injured...
