    Nice!

We all know CU (and CU fans) are The Class of the League.

    Nice.

        Agreed.

Can you imagine Mac's whining then?

I recall BU having a game against Mac's UNI team moved last minute because the UNI Dome collapsed because of snow a few years back. I don't recall BU complaining about it much.

How is that? MANY tickets were already sold for this game. How do they know which tickets to put on sale and where the season ticket holders are to sit?
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

just move the game to Renaissance, then let anyone with a ticket in and seats are first come first serve...it's that easy...
plus, you probably would get 600-800 students who would make the short walk from their dorms and apts.

Here is what I saw. (privileged to find an open row of seats right at mid court 3rd row )

There was the loose ball scuffle. For whoever knows why....the CU staff and bench players immediately ran out to form a huddle right around AW who was still on the ground. Why did they have to do this? I have no idea.

The CU coach said something to AW....and AW turned around and......don't want to bash on our players....but AW said a choice four letter word in the sentence "Shut the **** up." (This is only what 3 of us all agreed we saw)

The coach started to jaw at warren and follow him as Les was walking to check on Warren because he looked shook up. This is when JL and Lutz exhanged words.

After the game....Warren and the coach looked fine.....when Les and him shook hands...something was said and Luts ripped his hand away from Les....then Les was walking to locker room and Lutz continued to talk and Les turned around and gave the "you want to go?" look.

Personally I don't really care as I am not a sensitive person, but I love the fact that JL was standing up for his players and was showing he cares.

Also when Dy hit a late three (I think it was Dy) Les threw his fist and went nuts. He looked like nothing mattered more, and it got me fired up.

I'll take Les any day to be my coach!

Oh and McD yelling box out every time our player was about to shoot a FT was annoying.....like his players are really going to forget to boxout.

Exactly and the walk up crowd would be better, heck you could almost let them in for $1. People go stir crazy in the weather, having only to walk a couple blocks to get to a game would seem like a good idea to me.

The only problem was that they didnt give it enough advance notice. Had they had a full day's notice then it would be feasible because of TV cameras for CU. Speaking of that, I havent been to the new facility yet, are there places for outside TV cameras to come in? I know they have the in house video that they use for b.tv, but are there spaces for outside cameras?

He timed his "box out" yell just at the perfect time you would yell to distract a player shooting free throws. That was obviously not a coincidence. I think when Dodie missed his FTs, it emboldened him since he might have thought he helped cause the misses. Not a sign of class in a coach, IMO.

What's ironic is that Mac coached Dodie for a year at Iowa St.

Mac offered Dodie when he was first hired at Iowa State in 2006, and he had 10-11 open scholarships with virtually nobody out there to take them...
so McDermott offered just about every unsigned senior, prep schooler, or juco kid he could find....

Actually, Dodie gave Mac a good year -- and was the highest scoring player on that first Iowa State squad that was brought in by Mac...
All the rest of his players, NBA-caliber guys like Mike Taylor & Wes Johnson that he inheited, then bolted when they didn't fit Mac's style......
Dodie was booted when their academic support failed Dodie and they didn't want to lose more scholarships...

The 15 wins Mac got that year with Dodie turned out to be the best year he had at Iowa State......he really ought to be grateful to Dodie
