    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Just got in from blowing the drive. Changed my mind ,not going.

I agree that you would need a day advance notice. Creighton was smart enough to get here a day early, why wasnt Bradley smart enough to change some logistics because of the storm? With a days advance you could easily have the parking deck next to Markin ready for people to park in, students would know that the game will be on campus and at a different time, and it lets everyone else know about it too. The one problem would be, how would season ticket holders be accomodated, or would it just be first come first served? I thought Bradley prided itself on its academic reputation/smarts

If you are suggesting that Bradley should have moved this game to the campus arena, that was not even an option. First, they are under contract to play at the CC. And even if they weren't the logistics of changing were impossible. The game is being televised back to Omaha and there isn't any way to switch venues at the last minute and accomodate everything needed to pull the TV broadcast off.

Just FYI for those that can view this at the game, Peoria metro area is now a whiteout. Possible pending closure of area interstates and many city streets and roads becoming impassible.

Many Peoria city Officers can barely get around the city in 4 wheel drives. This may become an emergency situation for those fans at the game.

Just FYI for those that may have road Citylink downtown before 2pm today, no buses will be running to pick you up from the game. Very dangerous conditions out there. They havn't shut down I-74 yet but many people just stopping in middle of road as they can't see where to go.
