        I can remember when St. Johns and Bradley were equals. Boy has that changed. Back in the late 50's and early 60's St. John's and our Braves were regulars in the NIT when it was a good tourney to be in. What has gone wrong? We have along way to go to even come close to those days.

          ahem....not so fast with all the SJU-envy.....it is yet likely to change further and St. John's might someday still be crawling to the Valley for somewhere to play...
          Without football, they are and always be a poor sister in the Big East..and now that the Big East has TCU, they're about to expel a little dead weight and St. John's may left high and dry...

              I see Marquette joining the Valley before St. Johns. St. Johns, Seton Hall, and Providence may not have anywhere to go if the Big East decides to cut non football schools, especially with Villanova making the jump to FBS.
