    who lost to Appalachian St...

    who lost to Texas State...

    who lost to Houston Baptist!

Houston Baptist is currently #345 in the RPI (which is the worst RPI ranked team)!

Houston Baptist - #1 in the MVC

    Or...

    Bradley over USC by 1
    USC over Texas by 17
Texas over Texas A&M by 19
Texas A&M over Missouri by 2
    Missouri over Illinois by 11

So, it is unfortunate they will not play this year, as it looks like Bradley is about 50 points better than Illinois.

Just for those who say Indiana is undermanned...per the recruiting service Rivals

      Illinois Roster

      starters...
      Tisdale 3-Star
      McCamey 4-Star
      Richardson 4-Star
      Davis 3-Star
      Cole 3-Star

      subs...
      Bertrand 3-Star
      Paul 4-Star
      Head-4-Star
      Leonard 4-Star
      Richmond 4-Star
      Griffey 3-Star

      Indiana Roster

      starters..
      Watford 4-Star
      Sheehey 3-Star
      Pritchard 3-Star
      Hulls 4-Star
      Rivers 3-Star

      subs...
      Oladipo 3-Star
      Moore NR
      Capobianco 3-Star
      Elston 4-Star
      Roth 3-Star
      Creek 4-Star
      Jones 3-Star

so why do we keep hearing all this about how Indiana is nothing but a bunch of scrappers who are playing hard and overachieving??
Their starting lineup even with Creek & Jones III out was and is as highly rated as Illinois' starting lineup is.
...and likewise their bench is little different in recruit rankings than Illinois' bench.
The fact that they are at the bottom of the Big Ten cannot be explained solely by some crock theory that their lineup was devastated and they are playing with scrubs.
Crean arrived at Indiana and he still had NINE players who were TOP 3-Star & 4-Star kids but he ran them all out. He has since brought in plenty of Top 100 recruits and still can't get out of the Big Ten basement.

WOW!! Look at all of those underclassmen! Glass half empty/glass half full. And think about the new guys coming in next year to add to this. Crean is a proven winner and a good coach. Like I said before, they'll finish middle of B-10 with NIT next year and top half the following year with NCAA appearance. I'm no IU or Crean fan but I'd be excited as He!! if I were a fan.

I wish we had this kind of potential and optimism to look forward to here at BU. Once again, it's being shown just how quickly a good coach can turn a program around -- Crean, Cwonzo, Marshall, Lansing, Keno @ Drake, Calipari........

the Hoosiers need more fans like you!
Crean is in his 3rd year and with the recruiting power of just being Indiana -- has had top recruiting classes each year as well as three & four more years into the future...and many IU fans think they ought to be better than just being able to beat the bottom of the Big Ten while still losing non-conference games at home to Lipscomb & Loyola of Maryland...
Crean's record at IU is still the subject of some dissatisfaction among IU fans...
He has gone 1-17, 4-14, and 2-7 in the Big Ten (7-38, way worse than anay other Big Ten team in that span), and not one of the Big Ten teams they've beaten in that three year stretch was above .500 in the Big Ten race! (even Illinois is currently 4-4)

They are currently 2-7 in the Big Ten and will finish this year well below .500 again...and are very likely to do it again next year...
