Let me say that I thought this was one of Les' better game plans of the year and I thought he and the players did a relatively good job. Unfortunately, WSU has put together such a deep, strong team that I think their second team (which they often substituted in 4 at a time ala Dean Smith at UNC) would have been able to beat our badly depleted and under-talented team. It goes back to recruiting........

The ESPN boys do a pretty good job of game production and probably have lots of high tech goodies to present great video coverage!

This game gave me very little hope about our future program. I was looking forward to development of WL - he plays what - 5 minutes?
DSE is in a sophomore slump, which I never saw coming.
JP doesn't get the ball enough.
The main reason I watched the game was to see WL, because he has such potential. Every time JL gets PO'd at a player, they get benched for long droughts.
WL probably never expected this nightmare of a season and seems to want to win in the worst way. I think he has the most reason to leave BU and really be great somewhere else. I hope that's not the case, but man, the kid hustles always, is our toughest player, and then he gets benched because of a mistake for 30 minutes or so. Not right IMO. He's just a freshman - you're down 20+ points - get him so P.T. - what future does Woods have on this team next season? If it's something big, that mean we'll probably be looking at 0-11 next season too.
Very disappointing game - felt like we could have done a lot more on offense, but HEY - that's the gameplan I guess!

I thought we executed the game plan pretty well for the most part. Unfortunately to properly execute that game plan you need guys who can shoot it and we don't have that. On defense even though we gave up just 61points we gave up too many second chance points in the first half and in the second half too many wide open shots. Once again I thought we played good for stretches but we can just never sustain it for a full game. If we get the Blizzard of 2011 that is being projected I'll be curious to see how many will be at the game Tuesday agianst CU. Whether I get there by car or by dog sled I'll be there to support my Braves.

Not to pile on the Braves but I didn't see any good defense becuase we "only" gave up 61 points. Again...I saw a slow down offensive game that limited WSU's possesions. Had we went at normal pace they would have hit high 70's low 80's easily.
We didn't get stops and ONCE again a former no name player torched us for 6-6 wide open three's.
