    THE STORYLINE
Bradley will be trying to avoid its worst losing streak in 56 years when the Braves visit Missouri Valley Conference preseason favorite Wichita State Saturday afternoon at Charles Koch Arena ... The current 10-game slide matches two other 10-game droughts (1991-92 and 1934-35) as the second-longest in program history, behind only a 14-game skid during the 1954-55 season ... Saturday's game features the league's top individual scorer -- Bradley senior guard Andrew Warren leads The Valley at 19.0 ppg -- against the most-balanced offensive attack in the MVC -- Wichita State boasts 10 players who have scored at least 100 points so far this year.
    BACK IN 1955
Bradley's current 10-game losing streak equals the second-longest in program history, trailing only a 14-game slide during the 1954-55 season ... Coming off an appearance in the 1954 national championship game -- the Braves lost to LaSalle (92-76) in the first-ever nationally-televised NCAA Tournament final -- Bradley followed up by going 7-19 during the 1954-55 regular season ... Although an independent program at the time, Bradley received an invitation to the 1955 NCAA Tournament and proceeded to knock off Oklahoma City (69-65) in El Reno, Okla. and SMU (81-79) in the West Regional in Lawrence, Kan., to reach the Elite Eight.
    AGAINST WICHITA STATE
Saturday's game will be the 124th meeting in the all-time series between Bradley and Wichita State, which dates back to a 72-63 Bradley win March 6, 1948 at the Peoria Armory ... Bradley owns a 71-52 lead in the all-time series ... Wichita State sports a 39-20 home record, however, against the Braves ... Bradley has won six of the last 10 meetings, including two of the last three at Charles Koch Arena ... Ninth-year Bradley head coach Jim Les is 8-11 overall against Wichita State, 3-5 on the road against the Shockers and 4-3 head-to-head versus fourth-year Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall.
    HIGH SCHOOL TEAMMATES
Bradley reserve center Anthony Thompson and Wichita State guard Toure' Murry were three-year teammates at Klein Forest High School in Houston ... A fourth-year junior, Thompson is a year older than the Shockers guard.
    LOOKING AHEAD
Bradley will open the February schedule by hosting Creighton in a 7:05 p.m. game at Carver Arena, but will follow with two more road games ... The Braves will visit Southern Illinois Feb. 5 and current Valley leader Missouri State Feb. 9.

Cool another chance to show the country why we should not be televised on "the stations"

I wouldn't be surprised if we actually played well. Not saying we will.
We have 0 pressure today - less than the game at Duke.
Nothing to lose...but just another Valley game.
Looking for good games by JP and WL, and for DSE to handle the ball better and score 10 pts.
Good game for A-Dubb to show why he deserves to be 1st team All-Valley.

I wouldnt be surprised if the opposite happened, there has always been a tendency to have a post isu hangover..

these guys have been really resilient though. I will give them that.

Bradley- 64 Wichita- 62. COME ON! Give me a win this week! I got Japan in the Asian Cup this morning and hopefully Mirai Nagasu this evening. Make it a trifecta Bradley! DON'T EMBARRASS YOURSELVES!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

So Dave Snell said on the radio that Jim Les told him that BU wasn't going to look to score until 15 seconds left on the shot clock.

Can't wait for the Dallas Brave +/- 2 bigs vs. 4 small study in this game. The appearance of Eastman in disappearance for a while of Prosser/Egolf coincided with a huge WSU run.
