Our guys at the scorers table generally do a great job, but there's no excuses for last night --
how can they not start the clock properly after all that went on with the refs over there for half an hour reviewing the times and resetting the clock...
then when the refs rule the clock should have 4.0 seconds...
our guys reset the thing to 0.4 seconds and get ready for the inbounds play....
Then after being corrected yet again......they fail to start it when the inbounds occurs...
The stat crew seems to miss some things...
I have brought this up before even going back to when I would observe 3, 4, or 5 blocked shots by Patrick O'Bryant, then see only 1 or 2 in the box score after the game.
Last night I specifically watched JP and noted that some of the rebounds he got were not counted.
Also -- although the play-by-play is only available on the ISU site...note that at 13:59 Prosser subs out...then he gets a rebound a couple minutes later -- even tho you have to scroll down a bit to find that he's subbed back in FIVE entries later.
then, remember after Will tied it with FT's, ISU inbounds and tossed it unsuccessfully the length of the floor clanking off the top of the backboard, but no such last second heave or shot appears anywhere in the play-by-play.
Oh well......I guess everyone had a bad game...

Tornado..I think some of that stuff gets corrected at the end of the game, before stats become official.
For example, rebounds. On the POB thing, that gets into sight a lot and can certainly be missed.
On the 4.0 seconds...
BU should have been assessed a technical in my opinion.
No, the players nor team had anything to do with this.
But if this had happened to us down in normal, i would never forget it. It was so bush league, well its about worth being 0-10

Clock malfunction (or any error from the scorer's table), whether it is due to human error, or a mechanical glitch is defined as a correctable error, and up to the refs to rectify.
