The are about a thousand fired college bb coaches that would kill for the kind of support JL continues to get on this Forum.
A coaches dream!
I wish some of my professors when I was going to college graded me on the same curve some grade the current coach.
I'll just start the clock now on how long this one lasts!BUilding for the Future

JL is a good looking, personable, hard working guy. Good speaker. What some may call a good ol boy, rubs elbows well.
Add to that his college career with his "underdog makes good" NBA playing career, and, an impassioned return to restore his alm mater's dismal program, he is an AD's dream for fund raising and fan interest. Throw in one good recruiting class that caught lightening in a bottle and propelled the team into the NCAA's big time, and, presto, impressive loyalty.
Not good, not bad, results, unless you are a fan of padding stats with OTO Tournaments providing additional post season wins. Annual stories of promising recruits that aren't as good as advertised..
Enough to keep a coach around..with a large guaranteed contract...BUilding for the Future

JL caught a tough break for sure on the T. It was bad.
But I thought the block charge was bad that got Jank the T.
And no one has mentioned the out of bounds play with 4 seconds left, which should have resulted in a technical against BU no matter what the intention of the clock manager was.
You simply cant have that happen as the home team. Period.

Don't get me wrong I love #bradleyfans but this is pathetic... I hope yall do better next year.... I know we will.

To the student section y'all was real nice tonight!!! I appreciate that! Good effort
It sounds like someone told him to calm down a bit. To answer him, apathetic fans. Disenchanted fans. Fans that want a change. Fans that are sick of watching a team lose.I can do all things through pasta, which strengthens me.

Actually, not that many fans left with 2 minutes on the clock, and technically a team up by 8-10 points has the game in the bag. 1 or 2 possessions away from shooting free throws for the next 10 minutes. The old timers will fall asleep during that time, so they just leave and beat the drunks getting home, I don't blame them.
Reference the fans leaving at end of regulation, I thought it was odd at first, but really, 85% of them were just getting up to take a piss or whatever, because they came back just after the start of overtime.

Bad teams; bad officials.
If ISU loses that game we have a long list of calls to complain about.
The officials were terrible all around. (and the clock guy )
To be honest, I thought Bradley played very poorly. The 3s that ISU missed were open looks; we just freaking awful at shooting (worst in the Valley). If you defend like that against, let's say Indiana State, you lose by 20+.
Jackie isn't as good as Egolf made him look.
Warren is one of the best 2 players in the Valley."But instead lets just hate while their MBB and WBB programs play blackjack against BU. Twenty-One in a row, seven by the Men & 14 by their women." ~NSBF

I will say at the end of regulation, that was a very dubious clock malfunction that would've resulted in a really fun meltdown for ISU if we would up winning the game.
The thing of use gleaned from this game: maybe we did finally discover an endgame strategy in the overtime session: Let Warren go into God Mode and take over in the final minutes. It seems to work better than anything else we've tried.
The season is officially a lost cause and the rest of the way, player development is my only area of concern. Being 2 back of getting out of the cellar and with a sweep of ISU off the table, every theoretical goal of the season will not have been reached.

Just a general post addressing things I'm seeing around here. Does anyone remember last year? Am I crazy or did we have SM and TB then? How did that end up? Can we really continue using that as an excuse for our coach? Also, go back and look at the hype all of our current players recieved when they were first signed. I'm sure DS and RA are good players but are they any different that the other "great" signings our coach has made? With that being said, can we use incoming recruits as a reason not to make a change? The way I see it everything comes down to money. If he stays thats the reason. I can except that. Lets just not continue to fool ourselves and continue to give a man who has had nine years, excuses.

OK, this is the 4th or 5th time a fan has reference a "dubious" clock malfunction or something similar.
Please be more specific what you mean. Yes, it was a clock malfunction, but I cannot agree that there was any kind of hanky-panky involved if that is what anyone is hinting at. I have seen clock malfunctions many times (there was a famous one at the end of a game at Wichita State a couple years involving Creighton). If someone wanted to manipulate a game, stopping the clock is not the way to do it, because it will always be noticed and corrected.
BTW- that incident could have just as easily hurt Bradley. What if they were going for the score with the original 4 seconds, then the refs stopped the game for a reset. Remember the 1972 Olympic game between the US and Russians?
