the technical was an awful call by an *****ic ref. Blame JL for some of his coaching, but he can't be held responsible for that technical call.

I will admit it was a Horse crap technical.....the ref didn't even turn around to see Jim was CLEARLY stomping to get WE's attention to get his arse up as the ball was knocked loose and coming back toward him....

The ref just heard the stomp and through the T up......the ref was almost to mid court and JL was turned toward our basket where WE was laying.

It's not the tech, it's everything else over the last 9 years, and more specifically the last 4, leading up to it. People don't want a change because of one bad year, or one bad game, or one bad call.

Maybe a horrible call but Jim (and us) need to ask why this happens to him. What has Les done to so irritate these officials to NEVER give him respect or the benefit of the doubt?

Definitely a bogus call. As was the charging call on Austin Hill where it should have been a good basket and one, but instead a tech is called on jank. I guess they even out.

The charging call was terrible. The ref standing right near the play did nothing while the other ***** ref came from all the way across the court to make a ridiculous charge call. Jank's T was warranted though since he came out on the court to protest.

The difference is the time/situation in the game. No way you can make that call at 1:19.

Finally WE steps up for something! I would have put a big portion of the blame for the loss on him for that drive if he hadn't.

I don't have a problem with showing emotion like that, but maybe that isn't the approach to take. It shows that he is frustrated.

Look at Butler last year, how many times did you ever see Brad Stevens upset? He even said it himself that he feels the players react to how he is acting, if he stays calm and cool then they play closer to that way. Maybe if Les is showing his frustration, it rubs off a little bit on the players.

That being said, still think it was a crappy T

Refs totally screwed us tonight but there was plenty else that went wrong and good reason for all these complaints from the fandom.
