I will admit it was a Horse crap technical.....the ref didn't even turn around to see Jim was CLEARLY stomping to get WE's attention to get his arse up as the ball was knocked loose and coming back toward him....
The ref just heard the stomp and through the T up......the ref was almost to mid court and JL was turned toward our basket where WE was laying.
Horrible call......the ref has to understand the situation. There was NOTHING for Jim to be mad about. Will had lost the ball...there was no foul unless it was on WE AFTER he lost the ball. Jim was simply getting Wills attention.

Originally posted by TheGuy View PostDefinitely a bogus call. As was the charging call on Austin Hill where it should have been a good basket and one, but instead a tech is called on jank. I guess they even out.
The difference is the time/situation in the game. No way you can make that call at 1:19.

Finally WE steps up for something! I would have put a big portion of the blame for the loss on him for that drive if he hadn't.
Look at Butler last year, how many times did you ever see Brad Stevens upset? He even said it himself that he feels the players react to how he is acting, if he stays calm and cool then they play closer to that way. Maybe if Les is showing his frustration, it rubs off a little bit on the players.
That being said, still think it was a crappy T

He did something demonstrative to incite the official with an EIGHT point lead...
EIGHT...
We had the game without that four point swing...
This game would not still be going!!Peoria Toyota Scion

Refs totally screwed us tonight but there was plenty else that went wrong and good reason for all these complaints from the fandom.
